1. Thou shalt lead by example

People follow role models. Make sure you practice what you preach.

2. Thou shalt step up and lead when facing adversity

When times are tough, people need someone to step up and take charge.

3. Thou shalt involve those around you

People want to feel involved, allow them to be.

4. Thou shalt reward those who help you

You are the leader, but they all had their roles. Reward them.

5. Thou shalt delegate to those around you

You cannot do everything yourself, allow others to have control.

6. Thou shalt communicate clearly

Make sure they understand to prevent delay and confusion.

7. Thou shalt listen to others

Many great ideas came from those looking in from the outside.

8. Thou shalt give constructive criticism

It builds confidence and teamwork.

9. Thou shalt always maintain confidence and integrity

Leaders don't break.

10. Thou shalt have no fear and blaze your own trail

Don't let anyone stop you or discourage you from getting what you want.
